The Horologist Waits For the Pendulum To Swing

Alone in the cellar and without smokes, Mariusz builds sculptures from his collection of broken clocks. Soon a twitching army of snuffling pigs and pecking chickens surround him. The whirr of their oiled gears almost blocks out the blasts of bombs above.

  1. I loved the simplistic use of the prompt to creative a really emotive piece. I’ve still got chills.

  2. I like how the broken things have been made into something new. Of course, the clocks are the only things that are broken in this tiny tale.
